On-chain FX
Selling USDC for EURC is selling dollars for euros. This prices every on-chain currency route the way an FX desk would: against the ECB mid-market rate, all-in, at the size you actually intend to trade.

| Route | Venue | Pool fee | Impact | Gas | All-in | You receive | vs mid |

What this does not include
These numbers price the on-chain leg only. Getting dollars into a stablecoin and getting the destination currency out of one are separate costs, and in most corridors they are larger than everything on this page combined. Compare the total, not the swap: the corridor tool prices the whole journey, and the ramps directory covers the edges.
On-chain FX, answered
+ − Is swapping stablecoins actually an FX trade?
Yes. Selling USDC for EURC is selling dollars for euros with two extra wrappers attached. The correct benchmark is the ECB mid-market rate, and the correct cost measure is the gap between what you received and what the mid-market rate would have delivered.
+ − Why is the on-chain rate sometimes better than my bank's?
Because a deep stablecoin pool charges 0.04-0.05% plus price impact, while a retail bank typically takes 2-4% in the rate. The saving is real, but it only counts if you can get in and out of the tokens cheaply at both ends.
+ − What dominates the cost at large size?
Price impact. Pool fee and gas are close to fixed; impact scales with your size against pool depth. Above roughly 1% of pool liquidity, splitting the trade or using a different venue is usually worth more than any fee-tier optimisation.
+ − Do these quotes include getting fiat in and out?
No. They price the on-chain leg only. Add your on-ramp and off-ramp costs to compare fairly against a bank transfer or a fintech like Wise.
+ − Is the token I receive redeemable at par?
Depends on the issuer. EURC, EURe and XSGD are all redeemable at par with the issuer under e-money style rules. Thinner tokens may only be exitable through the market, which adds a cost this page does not show.
