What's open right now

Your money moves at the speed of the slowest rail in the chain. An exchange that never closes still cannot wire dollars while Fedwire is dark — this clock shows both sides at once.

Market hours, answered

+ Why does it matter that stablecoins trade when banks are closed?

Because the price of a token and the ability to convert it to cash are different things. A depeg on a Sunday cannot be arbitraged away by a bank wire until Monday morning, which is precisely why weekend deviations run wider than weekday ones.

+ Can I buy tokenized stocks while the NYSE is closed?

Yes, on the 24/7 rails — but you are trading against a market maker's estimate of where the stock will open, not against the underlying market. Spreads widen sharply outside the regular session, and a weekend price is an opinion, not a quote.

+ Which rails actually settle instantly?

SEPA Instant, Pix, and the public blockchains. Fedwire and ACH are business-hours systems, so a US off-ramp initiated Friday night is a Monday event no matter how fast the exchange side moves.
