Best DEXs for swapping stablecoins
For stable-to-stable swaps the only numbers that matter are pool depth and the fee tier. Purpose-built stableswap curves clear size at a few basis points; a generic AMM pool will not. Aggregators route across both.

Common questions
Why is a stableswap pool cheaper than a normal AMM?
Stableswap curves concentrate liquidity around the 1:1 price, so a trade barely moves the ratio. In a constant-product pool the same size walks much further up the curve, and you pay the difference as slippage.
How large a stablecoin swap can I do on-chain?
Compare your size to the liquidity figure on each asset page. Eight-figure swaps between USDC and USDT clear routinely on Ethereum and Solana; anything less liquid should be split or routed through an aggregator.
Is a DEX safer than an exchange?
Different risk, not less. You keep custody and there is no withdrawal queue, but you take smart-contract risk, MEV/sandwich risk and the risk of approving a malicious contract. Set slippage tightly and revoke stale approvals.
Do DEXs need KYC?
The protocols themselves do not. Front-end interfaces may geo-block or screen addresses, and your off-ramp will still require identity verification when you return to fiat.
Directory entries are hand-maintained and limited to facts we can verify from public sources: custody model, KYC, fiat rails, supported dollar assets, chains and regions. We do not publish fees or rates here because they change constantly — always confirm on the provider's own site. Nothing here is an endorsement or financial advice.
