Common questions
Is a self-custodial wallet safer than an exchange?
It removes counterparty risk — no exchange can freeze, lend out or lose your balance. It adds key-management risk, which is entirely on you. For meaningful size, hardware or multisig is the honest baseline.
Does the wallet affect whether my stablecoin can be frozen?
No. USDC and USDT are freezable at the token-contract level by the issuer regardless of which wallet holds them. Only the collateral model changes that — see the safety scores on each asset page.
Which wallet for Tron USDT?
Tron carries the largest USDT supply of any chain, and only a subset of wallets support it. Check the chain column below, then confirm the exact network before sending — a Tron USDT transfer to an Ethereum address is unrecoverable.
What is a smart account and why does it matter for stablecoins?
Smart accounts (ERC-4337 and similar) let you pay gas in a stablecoin, batch approvals, and add recovery or spending limits. Practically, it means you can hold only USDC and still transact without buying the chain's native token.
